ALBUM INFO
Pennies Are Useless is the debut, full length album from Baltimore, MD five-piece Catch. Even though it’s just coming out now (in 2007), it was actually recorded way back in the summer of 2005. Getting it finished was a struggle, to say the least. A struggle that shook the band down to its core. Consequently, this version of Catch will likely never be heard again. But fret not! A new-and-improved Catch has risen like the phoenix to take its place and is in the studio right now preparing their triumphant return.

Pennies Are Useless is mostly a rock affair, though genre-hopping rock it is. Early fan favorites were songs like the danceable The Pastel Suit, the whiteboy rap of ‘Just Like That’, and the energetic Poison Pill, while the band’s picks are the cryptic, piano-driven Girls Do, the raw stomp Jim the Rat, and the experimental yet sincere Flatline.

This is a professionally mastered and manufactured compact disc with all the trappings. Liner notes, quality printing, a durable case… even a UPC bar code. All the stuff you’d expect from a classy outfit like TS. Not to mention the fact that it’s the best value, featuring the highest quality audio, a physical product, and extra content in the folder.
